At Paideia, poslovno svetovanje in izobraževanje, d.o.o. (“Paideia d.o.o.” or “we”), we respect your right to privacy and are committed to the highest level of personal data protection. We handle personal data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act, and the Electronic Communications Act.
This Privacy Policy explains how and why we collect, use, and process your personal data and informs you of your rights regarding your data.

All personal data is processed confidentially and used solely for the purposes for which it was provided. We will not use your data for other purposes without your prior consent.
Website Visits:
When you visit our website, our server automatically stores access data (e.g., IP address, browser type, visit time, location, and entry page). This data is used for statistical purposes and to improve your experience. Data may be collected through cookies, and we will ask for your consent where required.
Inquiry Submission:
When you submit a contact form or inquiry, we collect the following personal data:
Full name, Email address, Content of the inquiry
The data is used to provide our services, respond to your request, prepare offers, execute contracts, and maintain internal records.
Direct Marketing:
We may use your contact details (email/phone) for direct marketing if you are a business partner or have participated in one of our events. You can object to such communications at any time without justification.
4. Data Recipients
Your personal data may be disclosed to: postal and delivery service providers, IT service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, software maintenance), website administrators and developers.
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties unless required by law or explicitly permitted by you.
5. Data Retention Periods
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected:
• Server logs: up to 3 months
• Inquiry data: until the end of the year following your last inquiry
• Contractual data: 5 years after the end of business cooperation
• Marketing contact data: until you withdraw your consent or object to processing
• Financial records (e.g., invoices): up to 10 years (as required by law)
Once the retention period expires, the data is securely deleted or anonymized.
6. Data Protection Measures
We are committed to protecting your personal data using appropriate technical and organizational measures. These include: secure IT systems with firewalls and encryption, secure physical storage for sensitive documents, controlled access and regular audits. Data is stored digitally on protected servers and/or secure cloud environments.

You have the right to: Request access to your personal data, request correction or deletion of inaccurate or outdated data, restrict or object to the processing of your data, withdraw consent at any time (for data processed on the basis of consent), lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

8. Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy
To confirm the date and secure the initial reservation of services, a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total package price is required. This advance payment ensures the booking of the date and the commencement of preparatory activities.
Subsequent payments are due as follows:
– 50% of the total amount must be paid no later than 90 days prior to the event,
– the remaining 40% must be paid during the week leading up to the event.
All payments must be made within the agreed deadlines to ensure the smooth execution of services and cooperation with verified vendors.
The client has the right to cancel the booking. In case of cancellation, Paideia d.o.o. is entitled to reimbursement of incurred costs. The amount of cancellation fees depends on the timing of the cancellation:
If the client cancels after the deposit has been paid, Paideia d.o.o. retains 30% of the total agreed package price, as this covers organizational costs and service reservations already incurred.
If the cancellation occurs 30 days or less before the scheduled event, Paideia d.o.o. reserves the right to charge 100% of the total package price.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions), we will agree on a rescheduled date or partial refund, depending on the stage of service execution.
Changes to the arrangement may be made by mutual agreement between Paideia d.o.o. and the client. However, in cases where changes are made at the client’s own request or due to force majeure events beyond Paideia d.o.o.’s control, the client shall not be entitled to any compensation or reduction in price.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
